Sarah Webb
Policy Adviser
Sarah has 30 years experience in childrens services, from practitioner
to senior manager. Following comparitive safeguarding research in the
USA and UK, she worked in inner London and South Yorkshire, taking one
of the first dedicated ACPC posts in Sheffield. Sarah has worked in both
the voluntary sector, as national programme development manager with the
NSPCC and local government; as Head of Safeguarding. Sarah has been a
past Chair of BASPCAN, and is a trained safeguarding Peer Reveiwer.
Since 2012 Sarah has worked independently; in LSCB Consultancy, and as an
Interim Manager. She joined AILC in 2014 as a Consultant with a lead focus on Policy and became the Staff Policy Adviser from April 2016.
